- We are usually not joyful because there’s something we want and we are not getting it. It’s a matter of our heart. So to be truly joyful, we must first deal with our heart. What is the “important thing” in our heart?
- We receive the most help when our heart is fixed on God and His purpose alone. That is the importance thing. We can rejoice because whatever happens affords God a chance to further His work in myself and other’s lives.
- Don’t try to over-analyze others’ intention. Learn to say as Paul said: what does it matter? The importance thing is “what about me”? What about my intention and motives? We cannot be held accountable for others’ thoughts and actions; but we are fully responsible for our own.
