Be Joyful Always, 9/20/2003

The past is a tool to help us achieve a better future. No matter how hard we try, we cannot change the past. But, we can learn from the past. And why must we learn from the past but so as to create a better future.
Hanging on to our past and not letting go is like running our Christian race looking backward. How can a runner win a race if he were to run his race facing backward? For a runner to win a race, he must devote all his energies pressing forward toward the goal.
